'A platform built by creatives, for creatives' - students from Access Creative College are launching their very own record label to do one thing: highlight and support the mammoth talents of their own kind.
Offering a variety of free creative courses such as music, media, art and design, esports, games, and computing, ACC strives to foster creativity and artistic skill in its young students, right at the heart of the city in Broadmead.
This week sees the college’s students gearing up to launch their very own record label, EMERGE – a hub of recognition and boost for the rising talents from the music and media courses of the college.

A clear cause for celebration, the college is hosting both an exhibition and live showcase to highlight the sheer talent and ambition of their young creatives. The festivities will take place over two days on the 9th and 10th of July:
Day one takes place at the very source, where an exhibition of visual art, photography and short films are being displayed across the college campus itself. Guest speaker sessions will also host talks from acclaimed professionals, sharing their unique experiences and wisdoms from within the industry walls.
But it doesn't stop there! On day two, the college is heading over to Strange Brew for 'The Future of Music Festival'. Expect to see live performances from students, artists, beatmakers, and producers as the college highlights the collaborative talents across the songwriting, live production, and sound engineering pockets of the new label. This is a ticketed event, and the link to purchase can be found here!

Gemma Bott, Pathway Manager at Access Creative College, breaks down the artistic and disciplined talents that came to create EMERGE, and how these echo the college's ethos as a whole: 'creativity, collaboration, and the confidence to lead'.
The college’s sentiments of essential creative encouragement echo a wider call-out to young people to stay curious and ambitious in their creativity, especially in a city as musically vibrant and artistically rich as Bristol.
EMERGE is set to be a celebration not only of Bristol’s bustling hub of creative talent, but also the new generation of it that’s right around the corner. Celebrate with the young minds behind the project on the 9th and 10th of July!
